jemostrom 5
I have Web Clipper 7.12.2 installed and tried to capture a PDF that was displayed in a window (just the PDF file itself was displayed). What I get in the Evernote app is 36 byte PDF "file". Is this just me or is it some know bug in the clipper? Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,696 Posted November 26, 2019 Level 5 Share Posted November 26, 2019 When you have activated this function (to grab pdfs as they are), there should be a small Green elephant button somewhere at the right hand margin of the pdf document, lower third of the screen. Click on it, and the whole pdf will be transferred into a new note and saved. This is part of web clipper, but it can not be accessed through the web clippers main window. Link to comment

It might depend on how the PDF was generated I see a problem with dynamic pdfs and just use Safari's save feature directing to an import folder Link to comment

This is what I used but for some reason it didn't work Link to comment

Level 5 Peter Olins 66 Posted November 15, 2020 Level 5 Share Posted November 15, 2020 A while ago (between EN updates?) the Evernote Web Clipper extension for the mac Safari browser stopped clipping PDFs. The Chrome extension still works. Link to comment
Level 5 Peter Olins 66 Posted November 22, 2020 Level 5 Share Posted November 22, 2020 (edited) The latest update of Mac Safari Web Clipper (V 7.13.6) is now working well for me on EN legacy and V. 10.4.3. A great relief. Edited November 22, 2020 by Peter Olins clarification Link to comment
