Mata Hari 15
Even a small Enex size will not be imported Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,054 Posted October 8, 2019 Level 5* Share Posted October 8, 2019 ..and when you say "will not be imported" is there an error, or does the Evernote window just fold itself away? Link to comment
Vercingetorix 0
....just fold itself away, but when I reopen EN I see error message, I see there is a wrong email address I have changed my email address in the profile, but still the wrong mail address appears here EN error.pdf Link to comment
Level 5* DTLow 5,744 Posted October 9, 2019 Level 5* Share Posted October 9, 2019 I don't spend a lot of time troubleshooting my devices. One solution is to completely remove Evernote; app, database, ...., then reinstall snd start fresh Link to comment
Vercingetorix 0
I can import to Apple Notes but then it is not possible to export Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,773 Posted October 12, 2019 Level 5 Share Posted October 12, 2019 You should probably follow the advise of DTLow: Complete uninstall (I use AppCleaner, and really check all items down the list), reinstall. Be aware that local notebooks are not on the server, so make sure you have a backup of these. Everything on the server will reinstall itself after the EN app was installed freshly. Use the direct download from the EN website, not the version from the AppStore. Link to comment
Mata Hari 15
Exporting all notes will not preserve the structure, i e the notebooks and the tags I would need to export each note separately Should I export to ENEX ? (is it XML ?) Link to comment

(is it XML ?) ENEX and XML are the same export format I prefer HTML format; the data is readable by any web browser app. For importing, ENEX is a better format; it preserves the note metadata (except for notebook and note-id) Link to comment
