After creating new note, notebook browsing goes to "All notes"

Just updated, and found an issue:

After creating new note, notebook browsing goes to "All notes". This is really uncomfortable.

I'm not seeing this behavior in the latest 6.16.4 Windows public release.

Any update on this? I'm getting the same behavior which is just an annoyance.

I spoke with the Windows team and they have a fix for this issue. It should be in the next release.

I'm glad I looked this up because I was concerned it was just me having this issue. And Evernote acknowledging it as a known issue saves me the effort of submitting a support ticket.

Another solution I found, is to make an adjustment to your EN-for-Windows Note Options/Settings.

GoTo:  Tools>Options>Note  and uncheck 'Create new note in a new window'

Now when you create a new note, from within any notebook, you should find that you still remain in that notebook in the left panel ...and NOT in 'All Notes'

Only draw back for me is the new note is not a full screen view...but it works till they fix it
