José Adriano 18 Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Hi ! I'd like to have a simple CTRL-F (Find) or F3 (whatever) to find something inside a note. So simple and yet, it's not there , AFAIK. Thanks !
Level 5 jbenson2 2,150 Posted January 12, 2017 Level 5 Posted January 12, 2017 It helps if you mention what platform or client you are using. Ctrl F can be used inside an individual note in the Windows version and the Web version.
José Adriano 18 Posted January 12, 2017 Author Posted January 12, 2017 Sorry (again) ! It is there. I'm using Windows. Just that the Search box appears at the bottom of the screen. Usually we have that Search dialog at the superior part of the screen. Anyway, no problem, it's there already. Thanks !
Level 5 jbenson2 2,150 Posted January 12, 2017 Level 5 Posted January 12, 2017 I agree - the lower position is not very intuitive. I still look toward the top for the results, and then go into "hunt mode" to find it.
Level 5* jefito 5,598 Posted January 12, 2017 Level 5* Posted January 12, 2017 Dunno, it works for me -- one code editor that I use a lot has it down there, the other doesn't. Just so long as mouse focus goes there so I can type, that's all I really need.
Level 5 CalS 5,327 Posted January 15, 2017 Level 5 Posted January 15, 2017 Chrome has the find window at the top, Firefox at the bottom, Brave at the top. I'm with @jefito as long as I can start typing....
