smahoney 1
Our office upgraded from basic to business 12/10/16. We were sent an invitation from Evernote, accepted the invitation then sent another email congratulating us on being added to the team and were prompted to download Evernote (already have the desktop program downloaded on our computers). However, when we sign into our accounts we are still signed in under our basic accounts, not business...? How do we get into our business account?!?!? Will we lose all of the information from our basic accounts?!?! HELP!!! Link to comment

Not a business account user, but my understanding is that "Business" is an add-on to personal accounts You should see your personal notes, but there should also be a Business side that you can look at - such as Notebooks Link to comment
Level 5* phils 220 Posted December 16, 2016 Level 5* Share Posted December 16, 2016 As @DTLow says, Business is an addition to your personal account; so when you log in, you should see a Business section in addition to your existing personal info. What desktop application are you using? If it's Windows, you should see Personal and Business tabs at the top of your left-hand panel. If you don't, it's a possibility that when your IT Administrator added you as a Business user, s/he didn't use the email address associated with your existing personal Evernote account but used a different (perhaps work-related) email address. You should check with them and see if that's the case. If it is, you should have them delete that Evernote Business user account and create a new one for you where they enter your personal email address. (I believe that's the right set of steps to get your existing personal account and your new Business account connected up, but you might want to have them check with Evernote support to make sure.)
