Have you tried switching to another version of the web UI (in Settings).  The latest one is a beta and is -eventually- due for an upgrade...

No. Will do if times allow..

  2. I was considering seriously the new Lenovo Chromebook Duet for handling my note taking during trips and surveys.

Than I asked myself: does Evernote even have a ChromeOS version?

  3. I am having this really weird problem with Evernote on my S10 phone.

When I try to open a PDF file, from within an Evernote note, the Adobe Acrobat splash screen will appear for a brief moment, then the phone will switch to the Cyclemeter app, tring to open the PDF file with it.

The problem still exists after a complete reinitalisation of my phone.

I wrote to Cyclemeter developers about it. Then I realized that all the PDF files elsewhere on my phone, or in a Google Drive, would open normally, with Adobe Acrobat. Only the PDF files from within an Evernote note would have this very strange behaviour. So it does not appear to be a Cyclemeter problem. But just in case, as you can see on the screenshot, no file types are associated with Cyclemeter. Certainly not the PDF files.

    Any clue???

  4. Hi.

Although I use Evernote all the time (32 500+ notes), I am struggling with the lack of consistency between the editions I use (Windows, web-based, Android).

How is it possible to search within a notebook in the Android client? It seems there is no way to reduce the scope of the search, while you can easily do that in the web-based and Windows client.

Also: is it possible to merge two notes in the web-based client and the Android client?

Hi.  I've never used an iPhone,  so don't know how an Android would compare;  plus I don't know what you use your iPhone for...  but I can search through my 46K notes reasonably easily and add new notes via keyboard or camera as I need.  It might be useful to explain how you regard the Windows client as being 'flawed',  because I do most of my heavy Evernoting via the Windows client,  and limit use of the Android to mobile data access and acquisition.

It is the most unbearably slow software I have on Windows. By far.

I used all the recommanded tricks: re-installing, indexing, etc. It is just a terrible experience.

I have to use the firewall trick to make it somehow useful. (
