I wave a Wacom Tablet and Pen, which can be used for handwritten notes, but I find using Rocketbook much better. for handwritten notes.

We are obviously on different wavelengths. If you fail to see what EN does so well, it is my desktop for my day ahead, displaying my calendar, tasks, pinned notes, recent notes, and shortcuts all on the home screen. I have used EN (paid) since 2011 and my use has increased exponentially with the introduction of all the new features introduced since V10 commenced. I was not a fan of V10 when it was first released, but this was mainly due to being forced out of my comfort zone due to some features being in a different place on the screen. This problem was resolved after a few weeks of getting to know the new release. I currently have in excess of 29,000 notes, all readily accessible across several platforms, including my PC, Smartphone, Tablet, Laptop and Web Access. So yes indeed EN gives me value at a current cost of around 24p per day.

I think the poster was referring to one of my earlier posts where I was highly critical about the new UI being difficult to read as I had undergone Surgery on my left eye due to a Detached Retina. I find the lighter text on a grey background lacking in contrast compared to the present UI, with the dark left Column being easier to read.

Everbug 10.72.2 Windows - print problems 🤥

Printing is working normally for me as well, 10.73.3. -
I regularly Pin Notes that I am Currently working on in the Pinned Note Widgets on the Home Screen. I have three Pinned Note Widgets, so I can have quick access to them. I do not find any problem with the fact I cannot see all of the content, as it is only one mouse click required to open the entire note, edit it and close it again.

"I fully agree with the concerns expressed by many users regarding the New UI of the software. I had a brief experience with it when it was accidentally released to a larger number of users than intended, and I found it extremely difficult to use due to the lack of contrast. As someone who underwent surgery on my left eye, I found the New UI very hard to read. My Professional Plan is due for renewal in May, and if this is the New UI with no option for comfortable reading, I will have to reconsider my subscription as it would be impossible for me to continue using the software. I have been a happy user of this software for the past 12 years with very few problems, but unfortunately, I am now starting to look for an alternative for my 28,000 notes."

I use Grammarly in EN works on the Desktop App. If you Have Grammarly Installed on your Device it works in all Apps, You can exclude any you do not want it to work in. It has been working again for around a year.

Thanks, @agsteele; I have already submitted three feedback notes. My main problem is I had a detached Retina in my left eye a few years ago and found it extremely difficult to read with the grey background.
-
It certainly was an experience, but not a good one; it was very difficult to read and had insipid colours, but it was definitely in the realm of being a game changer for me. I doubt that I would be happy to remain after 12 years and am very disappointed to have to consider an alternative if the atrocious mess is foisted on to us as the the new UI.

I found another Bug in the New UI. All the icons in the collapsed left-hand panel disappeared. I thought I would quit EN and Log back in to see if that made any difference. Delighted to say that on opening EN again, it has reverted to the original UI, which is much improved and easier to read.

It is not so much the size of the Font; it is the bright light background with washed-out colours; items in the Calendar Widget are so insipid they look like past items. The only options in settings are all white, or all Black, and I don't like either.
-
Now Found the Settings, it is on the Tools Drop Down Menu Only option is Full White or Full Dark. I am afraid this might be a game-changer for me.

I certainly will be giving them feedback. It's absolutely horrible. Far too much white with no contrast. I suffered a detached Retina a few years ago and find this very difficult to read.

I was in the middle of cleaning out some files when the screen changed, and I thought I was back in Legacy. If this is the New UI I am not a fan it it too light making it difficult to read. There does not appear to be a settings button.
