Unfortunately uninstall / reinstall - forced restart in between - did not change the behaviour: After reinstall and opening Evernote - its working on updating the database. After that the previous Homepage view appears, with the splash screen „improvements 10.86.0“. After that it jumps back to the white screen and updating the database again. Then the previous Homepage view appears. After that the same behaviour unfortunately. When being in Homepage and switching apps - fine. When in Notes view, it closes as previously explained :-((

That's strange. I mad a soft reset and closed all apps except Evernote and the Settings App and Evernote still closes down when switching between apps. What's interesting though is that when Evernote is in the Homepage view, it don't closes when switching between apps. And I believe I found the root cause. Eventhough I have version 10.86.0 installed, it still shows the previous Homepage view and not the new one, which apparently was released with 10.86.0. On my iPhone I have also 10.86.0 installed, and the new Homepage view appears. Now that I have stumbled across this, I notice, that nearly every time I switch back from another app to Evernote (in Homepage view), for a split of a second a notification popup appears and disappears. After screen capturing it, I found that this is the notification of the new Evernote experience (thus new Homepage view). But it disappears so quickly, that you have no chance to click anything. Believe that the new install got stuck somewhere. P.S.: Battery capacity is at 93,6%

EN Version 10.86.0 iPad Pro 11 - 4th Gen. iPadOS 17.4.1 Dear all, I am facing a problem when switching between apps on my iPad. Almost everytime Evernote closes down and reloads. The same happens, whether I am pressing CMD+Tab or using the swipe up gesture. Even shutting down the iPad and starting it again, didn‘t help. Update 10.62.1 is out, which should fix this crash problem Thanks to EN Dev Team, for quickly fixing this.

Seems there is more to it, than the Apple Keyboard, that‘s causing EN (10.62.0) to crash under iOS 17.2

Hi all, unfortunately, EN keeps on crashing, eventhough I am using an external BT keyboard (none Apple) 😏

I am having the same issue with iOS 17.2 just installed and using an Apple Magic Keyboard attached to my iPad. Now after your tipp using a BT keyboard, EN is not crashing. Thank you, for this short term workaround.

Dear all, unfortunately Evernote 10.61.1 became quite slow even on my iPad pro with M2 chip. Searches take significantly more time. When firing a search, it seems EN tries to find recent searches, etc. Seeing how it works and that the recent searches changes during the search process. It takes literally many seconds until the results are shown. Anyone facing the same issues? Cheers, JustMatt

Evernote 10.53.2 is available in App Store. Creation of notes works like a charm. 👍🙂

Thanks for sharing @PinkElephant Good idea to create some blank notes in advance, in order to fill them with your stuff. It's a PITA indeed! I believe it's a larger problem, as syncing feels significantly slower as well.

Evernote iOS is unusable at the moment. Creating a new note takes 40 secs until you can start to enter something. From your previous comments, I understand that some of you guys have raised a ticket. Does anyone of you guys know if they work on it and when we can expect to see this issue being fixed? Cheers, JustMatt

Hi guys, luckily you are facing the same issues. Same on my iPad, 20-40 seconds to create a plain new empty note. Unfortunately I tabbed around to much and now it's syncing again my ca. 10.000 notes, which will take ages again ... :-((

I took the step from my A12Z chip iPad Pro to the Pro 11 with M2. EN works noticeably faster. I hope this helps everyone who is not sure whether such a hardware upgrade is worthwhile.

I am having the same problem. Scrolling through list of notes is a pain - erratic scrolling on iOS 14.6 (iPad Pro (11 inch, 2nd generation)

Interesting ... same here ... once I disconnect from the WWW, the search finds the newly created note 🤔 Once being back online, search don’t shows results for that newly created note
