  1. I received notification from Avast Support that this has been corrected in the latest AV definitions & I can confirm that It's working as designed now for me
  2. Just an FYI......after a few days of no access with this error in the new v10.4.3, this fix did the trick and I can view all now. Thanks for the new note list options also 😁
  3. It seems that I spoke too soon - the same issue has returned as before. This appears to occur anytime a call is made to utilize any 3rd-party program to open an attachment in Evernote whether a spreadsheet or pdf. Still haven't heard back from Avast on what they see in the logs but I suspect this is an Evernote issue as it worked fine previously. Will advise
  4. Are these "orphan" or "ghost" notes that don't reside anywhere (not in any notebook)? There are some threads in this forum on that issue that has not been resolved yet. Mine show up when I search for untagged notes
  5. Yes, I have seen AV updates & definitions cause this type issue before as well. I usually update everything I can prior to troubleshooting. I use Avast & do have an active call open with them. If anything useful is provided or the situation changes, I will note it here. Thanks
  6. So, this has changed now with the latest EN v10.3.7 & Avast all updated. I no longer get the Avast popup indicating that powershell has been blocked. Avast does not react at all as it did before. However, once the attachment opens (a spreadsheet), it crashes in the spreadsheet program in a few seconds & disappears from the screen. If you try it again, the spreadsheet goes into recovery mode successfully but crashes again in a few seconds. This is reproducible in v10.3.7 but does not occur in the legacy version. I am running the latest Win10 version 20H2 that was released this week.
  7. Same - Visible on all Windows platforms & web interface, but not Android I have engaged Support & will advise as to what they say Best I can tell is that they are orphaned deleted notes or possibly those leftover from merging notes
  8. I'm not sure I understand exactly, but if you're looking to export your notebooks, the manual option is still there. Select NOTEBOOKS in the left hand navigation window and you'll see a listing of those. Right-clicking the notebook there gives you an EXPORT option to create the ENEX file. I have yet to find a DB as it was before.
  9. Yes - this is an issue still. It is not universal however - some pages clip fine while others never clip at all I noticed the problem on ebay trying to clip shopping items but I've seen it go both ways on other sites If you turn on logging in the extension, you can see the errors: 'ERR Channel: Message 'fetchUrl' failed with error: ' & so forth I tried turning off other extensions while troubleshooting w/no impact
  10. OK Google Tell Evernote "whatever is your voice message" This works for me **I got to thinking about why this works for me & not others - really makes no sense in that context. I now have to apologize as it turns out that I had enabled an IFTT applet for this functionality and why it works for me. It's called "Create a note in Evernote using Google Assistant" if you want to look into it. Sorry about that 😕
