  1. I was replying to the comment that showed a Google search saying that "Evernote is currently down". I mentioned that information was old and that it worked for me on web to also show that it wasn't down for everyone.
  2. If you click the link though, you'll see this: Looks like the text below "Evernote Status" on the Google search was from September 11th. Probably some kind of caching issue with Google. FWIW - I'm not having any issues with Evernote Web at the moment (but I don't use it a whole lot either).
  3. A couple of observations about it playing around with it just now: Remove thumbnail is also available from the '...' menu in the note editor on web and desktop(?): Once you remove a thumbnail, it doesn't look like adding another image (or audio clip) will bring a new one / different one back. (At least for now.) (Edit: there is a "Reset default thumbnail" that appears where you can toggle the old one back on.)
  4. I agree that while I find the transcription feature very useful, the feature is not needed by me the high majority of the time and the constant hover popup is an unfortunate distraction. I posted about it here: Here is another similar thread:
  5. Apple and Google have strict guidelines that prevent developers from explicitly mentioning their platform fees or suggesting that the app's price is higher due to those fees (from within the store itself)
  6. Just wanted to add that I've had similar (if not the exact same) problems with tags. I'd search on a tag that I knew had 100+ notes and only 5 would appear in the filter list. Sometimes though I would get them all to appear in the list but the note themselves wouldn't show the tag in the note editor. Even re-adding the same tag to the note wouldn't save. I had to delete the tag and recreate and then add it again to the notes to get it to stick.
  7. Yeah - it used to be a good choice for use cases like that. I did the same thing for my mom about three years ago. I don't know if she is still using it (hopefully not) but I should check in on her just to make sure she isn't because I can see her accidentally subscribing due to the tricky wording. Even I clicked the wrong thing one time just a couple of weeks ago due to the misleading wording even though I was anticipating it.
  8. There are a few bugs listed on that bug tracker related to search: • (fixed) ✅ UI inconsistencies in the search screen • (in progress) ⚙️ issue with search within note • (fixed) ✅ issue where searching within a notebook didn’t automatically apply a filter for that notebook But none of those seem to address this specific problem. Did I miss it? Which were you referring to?
  9. I had similar thoughts about the implementation being annoying:
  10. There are some people here who will read this thread and take it personal. There are some people here who will read this thread and see objective feedback.
  11. @julilloyd Also, make sure that you disconnect all your other devices ahead of time to avoid accidentally being locked out of your notes. I used to have 6 devices, but now I'm down to just one in preparation for my plan to expire early next month:
