How can I early renew my Evernote personal?
Kimberly Purcell replied to Walt7788's topic in Evernote General Discussions
The last I heard, Bending Spoons was still up in the air about whether they were going to do this. Contact billing support for this. This forum is user to user and not formal support. -
How to change Evernote support agent?
Kimberly Purcell replied to Silvio'ss's topic in Evernote General Discussions
Request that your ticket be escalated to the next level of support if you're not getting anywhere. -
Blocking another user (work chat)
Kimberly Purcell replied to _myshonok's topic in Evernote General Discussions
The previous ways to do it don't seem to be available any longer. Since it's a harassment issue, open a support ticket and as them for help. Unfortunately, this is just a user to user forum. -
I recently had the same issue. If I recall correctly, clearing the cache solved the issue. Worth a try.

sharing notebooks with non-paying users
Kimberly Purcell replied to guycruls's topic in Evernote General Discussions
That’s always how it has been in the past. I will do some more testing if you are indeed saying that it will update. -

Evernote/Google Calendar sync
Kimberly Purcell replied to Max013's question in General Feature Requests
Two way sync is not something that's going to happen soon. It's because of a restriction on Google's end, not Evernote. -
Each task should be its own note
Kimberly Purcell replied to Wayne Villars's question in General Feature Requests
The bottom line is one software will never be everything for everyone. The word SHOULD is something I do my best to never say. By using the word should you're only going to frustrate yourself. IT SHOULD! Yes, but it doesn't. The majority of power users of tasks would go bonkers if each newly created task also created a new note. Tasks that don't live within a specific note are found in the default task note. There's no reason you can't create a note and add a task to it. And while we're on the subject, no you can't add a tag to a task currently and it's not on the immediate road map. -
Skitch does not work anymore
Kimberly Purcell replied to Mimez's topic in Evernote General Discussions
Mine alternates between crashing to snapping nothing also when it is open. The time may have finally come to use an alternative. It's too bad, it was good when it worked. -
Web Clipper randomly closing
Kimberly Purcell replied to CorsairKM's question in General Technical Issues
There were some updates to WC a little while back to add the TASKS feature and after that time many people have had to reinstall the extension and log-in fresh. I had to do it myself. Try removing WC, doing a fresh install into your chrome browser and log-in again. See if that doesn't help. If not, you'll need to enter a support ticket. -

What is going on with E*N?
Kimberly Purcell replied to tombran44's question in General Technical Issues
There was a fair amount of rolling maintenance this morning. You can still access mobile and desktop apps during that time but it doesn't sync. From Evernote: We are working to restore service as quickly as possible. You may still be able to access your notes using the Evernote desktop or mobile app, but you will be unable to sync or share your notes until service is restored. -

Send emails to Evernote Tasks?
Kimberly Purcell replied to KDHPro's topic in Evernote General Discussions
I too prefer to use my email client add-on (Spark) but this method does require a subject line. -

Send emails to Evernote Tasks?
Kimberly Purcell replied to KDHPro's topic in Evernote General Discussions
You've always been able to add reminders when you send an email into Evernote. You add an ! to the end of the subject line with the date specification. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208314208-Add-a-reminder-through-email#:~:text=To set a reminder on,month%2C day separated by slashes. -
Move completed tasks to bottom of note,,,
Kimberly Purcell replied to James000's topic in Evernote General Discussions
You can delete the task so you won't see it unless you need the option of locating or referring to it again later. -
Here's what I do: I never add a task randomly outside of a note. I have a monthly note where all of my tasks go. So, for instance, now its' OCTOBER. (Then I have another larger Brain Dump one in which things are not time sensitive and I don't worry about due dates on it. ) Within that note I have delineations: Personal Business Errands Phone calls Waiting for response And I'm always careful to add new tasks at the top of those sections. In order to sort by date, I will use the TASKS sidebar.
