I created a template that consisted of 3 groupings of tasks (separated by dividers and a heading for each). When I use that template to create a new note, only the first task of each grouping gets copied over. All remaining tasks are skipped. I wanted to use this approach to mass uncheck all seasonal tasks without a specific recurring date.

I forwarded 2 email messages to my evernote email address. The messages never made it into the evernote database

Tried to share 2 websites via chrome browser on android. Didn't work. Clips never made it into app

Happened to me too

For a couple days now, I have be running the web version of evernote on my chrome browser to see if the impact on my laptop is less severe than running the v10 evernote app directly on my windows 11 OS. It Seems to be less taxing on my computer and performance seems to be equal. As an app, my 4000 notes consume close to 700MB of memory with high power usage when I browse my notes. Has anybody switched to web based EV until these perf issues are resolved? Are you seeing an appreciative benefit of running EV in a browser rather than the app?

I am trying to locate notes within my database that contains a particular string but wish to exclude a notebook from the search. Of course, I tried "notebook:-neuralnetworks perceptron", but it returns no notes at all although I know I have notes elsewhere with that string. I guess my attempt at excluding a notebook is not supported. Any ideas?

I would like the ability to search for all notes that have tasks whose due date is today and is not yet completed. There doesn't seem to be a search available on task due dates.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one having this issue. Not only does the note close, but it also goes back to the top of the note when you reopen it. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED YESTERDAY!

What have they been doing to this app? My gosh, I have a note that I must keep updated regularly and now i have to go through some kind of black magic to make my note editable. This is becoming unbearable. (Premium user for 10 years losing faith in what used to be a great product).. Wake up dev and realize the impact of your "improvements" are making on the un-usability of the app.

No matter what context I exit from evernote desktop, whenever I launch EV, it goes to the "Shared with me" page even though I have nothing shared and never go to that option purposely.

I use android Office Suite Pro to edit all my Microsoft Evernote attachments and am able to save all updates back to Evernote without any issues. Just remember to select the 'edit' option on the attachment. Once you are done editing, you save it in office suite pro, it brings you back to Evernote where Evernote then asks you if the changes should be saved. Select 'yes' and all is good.

This affects me in that I often work offline and then get surprised to find that the articles I had clipped are empty. I guess evernote don't realize how a 'small' bug can make their app un-trustworthy ...so frustrating

You can export in JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) or HTML, which are not compatible with EV :-(

You are correct. It isn't open source. I confused it with Joplin

Color coding is not consistent across platforms. On mobile, the right edge of the note is colored in the note list. Seems absent on web/pc. I might be wrong but can't find it

Also ability to define notes as favourites... But can be done with EV as short cuts... EV is superior here

Okay, although I was trying to not sound too spammy by letting people go check it out on their own.... here are my observations: The products are very similar. I would say that Nimbus Note is an OpenSource clone of EV Features specific to NImbus Ability to color notes Ability to encrypt entire notes with different passwords for each note (if you wish) Free account is 100MB with no OCR in attached docs (pdf, xls, word) you can edit clips with the Nimbus clip editor before saving them to nimbus you can import evernote notes via ENEX format table support seems more robust - no cell coloring tho better implementation of to-do's Android: Very clean interface Night/day mode Web clipper and Nimbus Capture are far superior than Android EV. IF I was to rate EV clipping at 75%, then Nimbus is at 95% (regardless of the recent failures to clip anything with Android EV) Syncing seems to be near instantaneous There doesn't seem to be any 'offline' folders on mobile (still testing) Easy to generate an external link for sharing Web Very nice and easy to use web clipper' - see attached image I prefer their note editor to EVs excellent clipper PC - Win10 Nice clean interface supports local database Privacy policy - Not sure I like all aspects - but not too much of a concern if you keep it for research and not too sensitive stuff....BUt you need to determine if this is ok for your use So, this is my eval after 3-4 hours of playing with the 3 versions. Not sure who named you the spam cop...but no....I originally posted on the Android forum due to the frustrations all users are having with the android clip function which has been inoperative for over a month. Since Nimbus Note seems to have much of the functionality that people are looking for, I recommended that people take a look at it. I am a paid EV premium customer and have been for years. I have had my share of issues with the product and have had to deal with a mostly unresponsive support team, I also posted on this forum because it is an fyi to anybody using the evernote suite of products.
