  1. Exit code 6 usually signals some kind of crash, but it's a bit vague. Have you tried reinstalling Evernote from scratch?
  2. Instead of "Tools - Options," try looking for "Preferences" or "Settings" depending on whether you're on Mac or Windows. Usually, there's an option in there to manage updates.
  3. They seriously need to listen up and actually address the problem instead of wasting our time with the same old routine.
  4. I've had a similar issue and found that using a cloud storage service like Google Drive or Dropbox works well. You can upload your MP4 files there and play them directly without downloading them. It's not a perfect solution, but it helps, especially if juggling multiple files. As for your specific need, you should also check out some free MP4 editor options, I really like Movavi; they offer streaming capabilities and can be quite handy for quick edits or previews.
  5. Took me a minute, but there's actually a way to dial down that brightness. Weird thing is, the settings button isn't super obvious. Try hovering around the bottom right corner, sometimes the gear icon is kind of sneaky. If that's a no-go, hitting CTRL + , (that's a comma) usually pops open the settings.
  6. Reach out to them on social media, especially Twitter. Companies tend to respond quicker there to avoid bad PR.
  7. It's pretty unfair to autobill without any heads-up, especially with such a hike. Lack of direct contact options only adds to the frustration. Maybe check if there are any cheaper alternatives or if you can opt out of the auto-renewal.
  8. I had a similar issue with a device that needed to connect as if it were in a different region. VPNs like WireGuard and OpenVPN are great, but they're not always ideal for devices without their interface, like your vacuum robot. Using a VPN for these things was more trouble than it was worth. So, I switched to using something called a proxy. This was way easier, especially for just one device or part of my home network. I got my proxy from a site called proxys.io. It worked well because it was simple to set up and made my device work like it was in the right place.
  9. Thought it was just me being tech-challenged, but seems like it's a bug others are dealing with too. Support ticket is the way to go, but solidarity in frustration always helps.
  10. I had a similar issue with the notebook limit. What worked for me was exporting notes from the extra notebooks, creating a new one, and then importing them. It's a bit of a workaround, but at least I didn't lose anything.
  11. So, here's the trick: it's not in the app settings, weirdly enough. On Windows, you gotta go to your system settings > Time & Language > Date & Time. Scroll down and change the "First day of the week" setting to Sunday.
  12. I had a similar issue once, and it turned out to be a syncing problem between my devices. Have you tried re-syncing or logging out and back in? Worked for me.
