Level 5* DTLow 5,746 Posted August 11, 2016 Level 5* Share Posted August 11, 2016 I have an email receipt that i want stored in EN So I forward the email to EN Later in reviewing my note I notice that the amounts have been stripped out I repeated the email, but the results are the same every time (edited: thanks @Gazumpd, @csihilling) Workaround is - grab a screen image from the original email - pdf I also added the email eml as an attachment to my note I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and has an explanation. I'd like to know the voodoo in my email that allows changes when I file it. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,085 Posted August 11, 2016 Level 5* Share Posted August 11, 2016 Guessing that the email is essentially a template, with the detail fields assembled from one or more client databases to which a clip does not have access. A screenshot or a print to anything will get all the details. A 'copy and paste' clip from the screen will not. Presumably part of the security measures - stops anyone altering the details of a visible invoice/ receipt. Had the same sort of thing myself - just used screenshots if it happens. Link to comment
