vicci@primemealants.com 0
i use tables extensively in Evernote. Since updating to 6.0.6.1769, the pdf files no longer fit within the table. Is there a toggle that I haven't toggled correctly in this version? Please see screen shot. Sincerely, Vicci Evernote Screenshot.pdf Link to comment
Analyst444 182
@vicci@primemealants.com I am sorry to say I have no idea what the answer to your question is. However, I am intrigued by your technique of adding PDFs to cells in tables. I may want to use that sometime. What benefit do you derive with this technique? Why didn't you just put one PDF in a Note? Link to comment
TIddly27 39
Most likely it was removed as a "feature" :>) Link to comment
nohb 27
@vicci@primemealants.com Most likely this isn't an option you toggle on/off. Are you noticing this issue on the Windows app only? If possible, can you log in on the web version and see if the issue can be seen there as well? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 11,667 Posted June 15, 2016 Level 5* Share Posted June 15, 2016 Hmmn. @vicci@primemealants.com - Looks like the icons are now a standard size. Hadn't noticed any change before, but in previous notes I was aware that several PDFs in one note created an untidy picture, because the icons were not uniform. Looks like someone fixed that, but chose a size that is slightly too big for your tables. And/or maybe the tables (which self-adjust to most content) aren't aware of the changes for some reason and don't adapt. As @Analyst444 points out, you could put each PDF into a single note, and allow it to display inline, and use note links between your table note and those individual notes to jump back and forth between summary and detail. Or given Evernote's recent feature with Drive, you could even store these PDFs there and link to them from the note. Not sure if you can use short address links with Drive (don't see why not) so you could quote links like this one - http://bit.ly/1YrjXhP (The forum really dislikes links like that!) - which would give you the added benefit (in case it should be useful) that you will get stats on how many folks click which links via bitly.com Link to comment
