I have limited amount of gbytes available to me and don't like apps that are always running. I can't find a location where I can stop Evernote PC from starting. Your computer doesn't require gbytes to keep running quickly - that depends on your processor, memory use and internet access speed. If you want to exit Evernote, then use File > Exit from the main menu. To allow Evernote to operate though, you need to allow some processes to continue - otherwise you won't be able to clip web pages or save the latest version of the notes to be backed up on the internet. I would allow it to do any updates when I have unlimited wifi or dsl, not when I am on my mifi. I. want to stop all processes. Link to comment
Level 5* CalS 5,284 Posted November 25, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted November 25, 2015 Go to Tools - Options - General and make sure Launch Evernote at Windows login isn't checked. Then to Gaz's point, when you are done in EN, use File - Exit and nothing is going to be updating at that point. Link to comment
