Evernote not compatible with MAC 10.6.8

I cannot install evernote because I recieve the following error

 

"You have Mac OS X 10.6.8. The application requires Mac OS X 10.7.5 or later.

You have Mac OS X 10.6.8. The application requires Mac OS X 10.7.5 or later."

 

I'm on a mac os and try to install the evenote download

Correct. Evernote 5.6 requires OS X Lion or later.

 

You can go and get Evernote 5.5.x, which is the last version that supported Snow Leopard.

Also nope - best I can offer - find a download link to Evernote 5.5.2 (try contacting support) - it's reportedly pretty stable on 10.7.
