MRadclyffe 0
Greetings, Attempted to open Evernote 5.5.1 on iMac OS 10.6.8 and it gives me a grey bar while "migrating notes from previous version" but I immediate received the message: The file "current-quicknote" couldn't be save in the folder "MRadclyffe_Evernote". A second dialogue box then appeared: Internal Error An internal database error has occured that prevent Evernote from functioning properly. If the problem persists, please contact Evernote Support. I have, but thought I'd try here too. Evernote's help comes back with: Sorry, we couldn't find that! [#10340]We could not determine which topic you were attempting to view. I followed other instructions, but have the [.]com[.]Evernote file it says to delete does not exist. Any suggestions? Cheers evernote.tiff Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 11,652 Posted October 2, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted October 2, 2014 Hi - there are several entries in the forums detailing how to uninstall and reinstall Evernote and rebuild the database. That sounds like your best bet for now.. Link to comment

MRadclyffe 0
I sent a message to them, as I said in my OP, and I now cannot redownload Evernote, as it's not compatible with Mac 10.6.8 as I'm too poor to upgrade. Link to comment

MRadclyffe 0
Thanks Jack. Downloaded, installed, with the original Evernote on the Desktop as suggested, opened it, and got the same messages as in my OP Still waiting on reply from developers, but as I'm not premium, I suspect that may be a while...
