Adding Tags on a Managed Account

I manage our CEO's Evernote by titling notes, but I am unable to add new tags.  Can this be done, and if so, how does he give me permission to add/create new tags to his notes?

You cannot add new tags to someone else's account. You can add tags to notes in a shared notebook if they exist in the account that they are shared from, and the notes are shared for writing. If you want new tags, you'll have to tell them to add them to their account.

Edit: This is a design choice by Evernote. See https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/15249-problem-with-tags-in-shared-notebooks/ (Dave Engberg is Evernote's CTO).

I think your CEO will have to share his EN account login with you, which he may or may not want to do.

I don't believe accessing his Notes by a shared account will give you the permissions you need.

You can search the EN KB (link below) for "shared notebooks", but I didn't find anything useful.
