Two Notes When Using Web Clipper

Hi All,

Does anyone else get two notes every time they use the Chrome Web Clipper?

Same content, just two of them!

I sometimes have the same problem (duplicate note is created with the same creation time, same title, content etc), although I can't figure out the conditions provoking this.

Glad I am not the only one. No, it just seems to happen, does not appear to be an obvious reason.

Hi all,

We've seen this issue sometimes when user have 2 versions of the Web Clipper installed. (it may be you have tried one of our beta versions before it was released...?)

Please check your 'Manage Extensions' view in Chrome by right clicking any extension icon in the toolbar.

Does this happen on all URL's?

Let me know if it still persists.

I'm getting same problem. It does not happen with all URLs and does not seem to follow any particular patten. I was getting the duplication with a previous version of the clipper as well. Currently using version 5.9.5 with Chrome 24.0.1313.56 m.

Have to trim the doubles manually

Not the topic of discussion but is there a way to detect and remove duplicate clips ?

I also trim the dupes once back in the app. 

That started happening after the last major update on web clipper (macbook pro, safari)
