(Archived) How do I get rid of <no name> tags?

I don't know how they got there, but I have two <no name> tags.

I cannot click on the first one.

Clicking on the 2nd one, gives the message: "No notes were found"

I cannot delete either one.

Thank you for any suggestions on how they got there or how to get rid of them?

Hmmm, did you try renaming the tag? If you can rename it then maybe you could delete it after. There's also a "Hide Unassigned Tags" feature, at least in the Windows version.

That worked! I could not access the first one, so I renamed the 2nd one and deleted it.

After that, I was able to access the first one, rename it, and delete it.

I try to keep the Left Panel closed most of the time (F10). Must have done something wrong the last time I had it open.

I've had this issue once or twice, and had to delete the no name tags.

I would be interested in finding out what causes this.

Found this thread searching for "no name". Funny to see this has been around for two years. Well: not funny, actually.

I don't know what causes it, but they're easy enough to get rid of. Right-click, Delete. Done.
