Shortcut combinations don't always work

Often the navigation shortcut combinations do not work.  It's not clear to me when they work.  Maybe it's a matter of luck.
 
 Favorites 1-9 always work.

The notebooks shortcut has never worked for me in the history of V10. If I am editing a note I get a Euro symbol, otherwise nothing. So in that case it seems to be Windows overriding EN.  If I remap it to alt+ctrl+7 it then works.

My advice therefore is to see which of them are most useful to you and also give you most probems and then remap them to another combination

It can be the OS, or any other app installed in parallel that uses the same key combination. Since each Pc is individual, you need to try and find out yourself.

I have noticed some shortcuts disappear but work again after I restart Evernote.

From my experience, shortcuts work, but sadly, not when you are editing a note. It is not obvious when I am editing a note, before using a shortcut I systematically tap the ESC key. This reliably stops the editing of the note so the shortcut key works.
