Is there a way to prevent typing hyphen + space ("-") in a note from automatically turning into a bulleted list? A thousand thanks

The only thing you can do is Undo (Ctrl+Z) to revert from the automatic formatting.

Other characters are automatically converted to a bullet point as well (eg +). You could use a text expander (e.g. AutoHotKey) to convert a text sequence (e.g. two hyphens) into a unicode character that looks like a hyphen but is not actually converted to a bullet point. (e.g. U+2010). Alternatively you could just use 2 hyphens.

Between us, it seems really bizarre to me that Evernote hasn't added an option to change the behavior of their piece of software. I don't think it was too complicated...
