Andrea27 1
Is there a way to prevent typing hyphen + space ("-") in a note from automatically turning into a bulleted list? A thousand thanks Link to comment

Level 5 Dave-in-Decatur 2,891 Posted September 7 Level 5 Share Posted September 7 The only thing you can do is Undo (Ctrl+Z) to revert from the automatic formatting. Link to comment
Mike P 2,223
Other characters are automatically converted to a bullet point as well (eg +). You could use a text expander (e.g. AutoHotKey) to convert a text sequence (e.g. two hyphens) into a unicode character that looks like a hyphen but is not actually converted to a bullet point. (e.g. U+2010). Alternatively you could just use 2 hyphens. Link to comment
Andrea27 1
Thank you all for your kind and quick answer. Between us, it seems really bizarre to me that Evernote hasn't added an option to change the behavior of their piece of software. I don't think it was too complicated... Link to comment
