Turning off preview in default view for new links and attachments in Evernote Personal

Recommended Posts

@pdf problem You can send feedback to Evernote through the app. These are mostly just community discussion forums with the occasional drop by of Evernote staff so you'll 99% just get other users weighing in...

I don't think there is a setting (yet) for the default view of an Excel spreadsheet.

And you probably already know this, but just in case you don't or someone else come along that doesn't (I've seen a similar question before in the forums), you can change the view of it yourself after you add it as an attachment.

  1. Click the title/header of the attachment.
  2. Click the '...' button.
  3. Select 'Title'

Understood. But why are you not able to switch to Title only and turn off the annoying prompt to upgrade?

Couldn't say. The selection too set a default for viewing Title only etc is a new function. Until recently the view was whatever the Devs had chosen. The live view for spreadsheets is also new.

Open a support ticket and make the request. In the meantime you'll need to manually change the view for spreadsheets as you import them.
