Cannot Copy and Paste

I have been an Evernote user for 10 years plus.  Now all of a sudden I cannot copy and paste text from an existing note.  What gives?  This is a basic basic function of why I have notes.  Any insights?  This is very frustrating

What gives ? You have an individual malfunction.

This is a feature request forum; you can do a search and find one or two existing threads on this or similar problems in other forums. Take a look at them, and add your concerns there, plus there may be solutions already offered.
