David Underwood 0
When I try to convert a long note into a PDF, then preview it in my Windows Web Browser, only the first 3 pages appear in the PDF. What happened to the other pages? Is there a bug or limit to the size of the PDF that will be generated? Link to comment
Evernote Expert agsteele 3,059 Posted November 8, 2021 Evernote Expert Share Posted November 8, 2021 The PDF export seems to have a number of bugs but these mostly seem to affect layout rather than the whole document export. The general advice for printing and PDF export is to use the Legacy product until this is fixed. However, a web browser may not be the best place to view a PDF. The issue may be with the browser rather than the export. So double check in a PDF viewer such as Adobe Acrobat or FoxIt to be sure. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,771 Posted November 8, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted November 8, 2021 This truncation of pages in long notes was already reported in other threads and definitely looks like a bug. If you want to get an answer from EN, issue a support ticket. As stated by @agsteele the best workaround currently is to use the legacy client for printing and pdf creation. Link to comment
creon 6
This also seems to happen in the mac version. I can send the note if someone tells me how. Also, selecting the full content of a note, copying it, and pasting in a google doc looses almost all formatting, and all images. Also, all contextual mac menus for acting on selected text are not present when selecting text in evernote, while they are present in almost all other mac applications. Link to comment
creon 6
How does one "issue a support ticket"? Link to comment
