sminchy 8
Despite being on 10.23.7, I don't have the option to "check" Evernote in the Share Menu of the System Preferences. The app just isn't there. As such, I still can't share a file to Evernote. Any ideas? Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,194 Posted October 14, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted October 14, 2021 Support ticket is open, devs are investigating the issue. Meanwhile use „Open with …“, or place an import folder on your desktop, and drop content on it to get it imported. 2 Link to comment

Level 5 PinkElephant 8,194 Posted October 20, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted October 20, 2021 It is not a joke, it is a bug, reported, waiting to be fixed. Link to comment
dbr12 10
This appears to be fixed in 10.27.5 for mac. Evernote now shows up as a share option and when selected shows up in the share menu when right clicking on a document. Link to comment

Level 5 PinkElephant 8,194 Posted December 17, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted December 17, 2021 Do you run the AppStore version or the direct install ? Link to comment

I run the AppStore version as I am not able to direct install. Though where the app is installed from should not matter at all for any features. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,194 Posted December 17, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted December 17, 2021 The AppStore version (it is the same program) runs in a sandbox. This restricts it visibility to other apps. We had the same issue in another thread, where we analyzed in all details our mutual setup. The only difference was AppStore vs. direct install. After switching to the direct install, sharing worked. So either you get the direct install (needs to be repeated using admin rights with every release), or continue with the AppStore version, but without of sharing. You can continue to use the „Open with …“ dialogue available in the right click menu of most files. It is not specific to EN that the AppStore version of a program runs somehow restricted.
