About dbr12

  1. Please include Touch Bar support in macOS for the new 2016 Macbook Pro with Touch Bar. Thank you.
  2. I have some notes that are very long and it can take a while to scroll to an area down below in the note. I'd like to have the ability to have a link that, when clicked, takes you to a later part within the same note or different location within the same note.
  3. I'd love to see Touch Bar support in macOS for the new Macbook Pro late 2016 with Touch Bar. (I didn't see it submitted as an idea yet.) Thanks. David
  4. This works great. Thank you! 7/25/16 update: This has been added back in the most recent Mac release. Thank you Evernote!
  5. The menu item to open a note in a separate window has been added back in the most recent update for Mac. Thank you Evernote!
  6. A forum contributor JMichaelTX wrote an Apple script that opens a note in a separate window to which you can assign a keyboard shortcut. It works great. Here's the post that contains the script:
  7. Does this work even if the Open Note in Separate Window command is in the Note context menu? The command was moved to the Note context menu a few versions ago and my keyboard shortcut via Sys Prefs stopped working. I've been trying to find a way to get it back. Thanks.
  8. Thank you for the response. I found that it was already a feature request so I voted it up. Thank you.
  9. With EN for Mac 6.6 released yesterday this hasn't been addressed. Is there a way to make this a formal feature request to put the "Open in a Separate Window" command back in the standard Note menu rather than the Note context menu so we can assign a keyboard shortcut to the command?
  10. 6.6 is a great step. I'm quickly finding Command J to be a faster way to get to my notes or to start a search. Great job Evernote Team. Thank you.
  11. Curious, but the Open Note in Separate Window menu item is now in the "right click" context menu in EN 6.02 Mac and no longer in the menu bar Note menu. My keyboard shortcut that I setup with the above instructions doesn't seem to work any longer. Do you know if there is a connection between the Open Note in Separate Window menu item moving from the menu bar menu to the context menu and my keyboard shortcut no longer working? I've deleted and recreated the keyboard shortcut and restarted EN, but it still doesn't work. Any suggestions would be appreciated as I use the keyboard shortcut frequently to launch notes. Thank you.
  12. JMichael thank you for the response. I've used the Veritrope solution with success in the past (it worked good) with Outlook for Mac 2011, but it broke with one of the updates to EN, Outlook or something else. I'm wondering if it works with Outlook for Mac Office 365. Has anyone used it successfully on Outlook for Mac Office 365?
  13. I'd be interested as well to hear if there is integration planned or a work around (other than forwarding emails to EN) for integrating Outlook for Mac Office 365 with Evernote, similar to the plugin that exists for Outlook on Windows. Thanks.
  14. An issue that was in Beta 4 remains in Beta 5. When I have a document open from a note (i.e. Word, Excel) and I'm editing the document and saving changes back to the note without closing the document, with each save Evernote creates blank lines in the note. If I have the document open a long period of time with multiple saves to the document the blank lines in the note can grow to a large number. This requires me to delete the blank lines in the note since the other note content gets pushed to the bottom of the note. I have not experienced this issue in prior EN releases. Thanks.
