Level 5 PinkElephant 8,196 Posted September 2, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted September 2, 2021 Get yourself the app AppCleaner from the internet. Install it, give it all permissions needed. Then open it, drop the EN icon to delete the app. In the following window make sure you select ALL EN program components. Scroll down, really check all of them before hitting the erase button. Empty the trash, restart the Mac. Get the install DMG from the EN web site, install it, log in and now wait it to run the initial sync. Link to comment
Steve Payne 2 Posted September 3, 2021 Author Share Posted September 3, 2021 I did a restart and Evernote seemed to open but it just had a blank page and all of the menu drop down features are grey. I can open account info but when I try to open notes from there I get a 'sorry message try again' which doesn't work. More importantly, now I can't quit the app or uninstall it and I can't shut down my Macbook Pro Link to comment
