Allow to turn off all autoformat

I think you will need to provide a bit more detail of what you mean if you want anybody to respond.

Please allow us to turn off auto formatting.  Common items I type keep changing and I have to press Command-Z each time to get back to original characters.

Some of the auto-format things can be undone by pressing backspace immediately after instead of Ctrl-Z. Still work, but maybe a tad easier to press backspace than Ctrl-Z.

So if you type "-" then space, it will change it into a bullet. Press backspace and it will change it back to a "-" with a space and you can continue typing.

I also agree that not being able to turn off auto-format was a terrible idea.  Please bring it back.
