perthhutch 5
I've just upgrade to Evernote 10.4 for Mac. Now I can't attach pdf files to notes. (I also tried jpg file - not working either.) Is anyone else having the same issue? I'm trying to be patient with the upgrade, but it's very frustrating. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,068 Posted November 23, 2020 Level 5* Share Posted November 23, 2020 10.4 seems a little flaky. Evernote are aware. You may want to go back to 10.3 or use the legacy version until things are fixed. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,815 Posted November 23, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted November 23, 2021 I doubt this is the case. Furthermore the thread owner did never specify HOW he tried to attach the files. In fact he just dropped a post, and that was it. Doesn’t look like a persistent problem to me. You now post you know you have „the same issue“ - but the „issue“ is not defined at all. So before having the „same“ issue, you better describe which issue you have. I am pretty sure we can help you somehow, and 10.25 has AFAIK no issues at all to attach a file to a note (within system limits). Link to comment
davidtderrick 55
Thank you. The issue is that I can no longer drag a file into a note. I'm sure it will resolve itself. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,815 Posted November 23, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted November 23, 2021 Do you use the direct install of the EN client, or the version from the AppStore ? Link to comment
davidtderrick 55
For various reasons I am currently using the web version on a Mac with Firefox. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,815 Posted November 23, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted November 23, 2021 Then we are in the wrong subforum - this here is about the installed desktop client, not the web client. For the web client available functions depend on the browser, its security settings and installed extensions. It is more difficult to advise than on the installed clients. Link to comment
