davidlegendmc 2
I believe this preference was available before. I tend my menu bar carefully and don't take kindly to applications that insert unnecessary icons. If I need Evernote, I know how to switch to it – I don't need a menu bar elephant cluttering the place up. 1 1 Link to comment
0 RayRayRay 3
Agreed. Hope they just overlooked this in the redesign and will put it back--this is one of my deal breakers for an app 1 Link to comment

0 Edward Almasy 3
+1 Some of us don't use or want an additional icon in our menu bar. It just adds visual noise to the screen we look at every day, for no benefit. Link to comment

0 Level 5 PinkElephant 8,795 Posted July 14, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted July 14, 2021 Not from posting in the forum. Issue a support ticket if you want a change. I am using the Bartender helper app to keep my menu bar lean and clean. Link to comment
0 Ordinant 0
Please implement this OBVIOUS suggestion as soon as possible. With macOS Monterrey on newer Macs, the tool bar space is limited to the area to the right of the camera notch, with no user control over what gets loaded there and what gets dropped. Forcing us to have this fairly useless Evernote icon in place of icons we actually want to use is short-sighted at best. Link to comment
0 Level 5 PinkElephant 8,795 Posted September 1, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted September 1, 2022 If you want control over your icons, get a menu bar manager. It is the only way to really control what you see as your menu bar. Bartender app does a good job on this, but it will cost a fee. Link to comment
