regression 6 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I just installed the 2.0 beta. Is there any way to record an audio note? I have a Sprint HTC Hero running stock Android 2.1.

Crashless 0 Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 It is nice that there is a workaround, but it is quite a few steps vs. the simple 2 clicks from the previous version. Are there plans to re-integrate quick voice recordings to the program? It really was a nice feature...
Ah_Fan 23 Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 This is our new feature to allow the user to choose their own voice recorder. But I would make record of your recommentation into our database. Also, you can click audio icon from the widget. But the feature is not completely implemented yet and should be available later.

Once the default recorder is set, it's even faster than before. Sorry I didn't look harder before posting. Nice work on the new version. Loving it!
mkayi 5 Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 Question about this: as far as i can see, on my x10 mini pro there is no audio recording app pre-installed. Is there a free app which i can use to record audio on my phone and play it back from the web or windows desktop?
VetDoctor 0 Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 "Voice Recorder" got a positive remark from an x10 user in the android market though with a lot of mixed reviews. Maybe ping an x10 forum and see what's popular.
canyon 0 Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 The latest update includes voice recording in the app. (and it's awesome)viewtopic.php?f=51&t=19395
mkayi 5 Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 Thanks for this piece of info, folks. That's just great, because i downloaded an audio recording app which i wasn't really happy with. Now, ican just use evernote! Yes!
brandonk 0 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 How is the audio record supposed to work within the app? I tried clicking the microphone icon but that just gave me a new note with a folder icon titled audio2010-16-..... I submitted a bug report because I also got an error when I tried to view this attachment. I was able to use a third party app to record a voice note. This will be a great way to keep my voice notes synced to my computer!
