Options in Evernote for Mac

Recommended Posts

I've been using Evernote under Windows for many years, but now I'd like to start using it on the Mac.

The Windows version has an Options menu that lets the user specify various options; the screenshot shows shortcut options, which I'm most concerned about at this point). But I can't find these options (or any options) in the Mac version.

Does the Mac version provide any shortcut options somewhere? Or any options at all?

The menu items each show a keyboard shortcut

Evernote > Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts
for the setting of specific shortcuts

Furthermore you can have a look at extensions like Alfred. It installs in the menu bar and allows further automation to be set up, including hotkeys  to call these routines. The basic version of Alfred is Free. To get the advanced options, you need to purchase the Powerpack.

I use Applescript; it's delivered with the MacOS and integrates scripting into the Evernote app1773702563_ScreenShot2020-09-08at4_34_00PM.png.d362ef652e29725998b2335ce8180467.png
