Level 5 PinkElephant 6,305 Posted June 6, 2020 Level 5 Share Posted June 6, 2020 Cool 😎 10.15.5, Version 7.14 (458244 Direkt), EDITOR: 69.3.10951 (15add1e), MBP 2019 / 15", i7, 32GB EN was just opened, some notes opened and closed just to give it a little tickle. Maybe it will go up when using it a bit longer, or edit some stuff. But it never produces any issue, not CPU, not RAM. Link to comment
Level 5* DTLow 5,721 Posted June 6, 2020 Level 5* Share Posted June 6, 2020 2.28GB is much too high Have you quit and restarted the app lately I've only experienced that issue on a data import Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 6,305 Posted June 6, 2020 Level 5 Share Posted June 6, 2020 @DTLow I agree that 2.x GB is very high. Still my GB-values for EN and WebClipper (Safari) are nearly double than yours. Maybe it depends on the available RAM how much it allows to be allocated ? Link to comment
vegerote 2
@DTLow I haven't quit in about a week. @PinkElephant It was almost the same when I first opened it, but it will keep rising for a while, for example, it will rise to the figure after a week. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 6,305 Posted June 6, 2020 Level 5 Share Posted June 6, 2020 I think it is good practice to close down from time to time, and even restart the Mac every few days. Helps the OS to keep everything clean and tidy. 1 Link to comment
