Group multiple notes together

Please provide an option to group multiple notes together. So that they appear together in the index. I know there's a similar feature called 'Merge notes', but it's not the same.

Kindly add this feature.

Hi.  If you want to group notes,  try the Table of Contents feature,  or subscribe to a service like Filterize which can automatically update ToC notes based on filters that you specify.

The notes in Evernote are organized with various "indexes"
I use the Tag feature to "group multiple notes together"

For example, recipe notes for chicken dishes  are tagged !Recipe !Recipe-Chicken   
Notes can be retrieved, using any of the tags

Also, within notes we can embed note links to other notes    
My master chicken note can contain links to multiple recipe notes

Also, there's a search feature.  I can search for the word "chicken"

The canonical way to do this sort of thing in Evernote is to use tags: tag multiple notes with a unique tag, and filter on that tag. Only those notes will appear in the note list. Moreover, in the Windows client, you can sort notes by tag names (remembering of course that notes can have multiple tags).

 Merge notes creates a single note out of two or more separate notes, so that's correct; it's not the answer.

If you need something more than that, it would be helpful for you to provide more specific use cases.
