Cannot search Evernote 7.14 in Catalina

Any search string returns 0 notes. Search continues to work fine on my Android phone. This is a disaster: I cannot find what I need, and have been depending on Evernote for many years. Thousands of notes. Help!

Do you search with spotlight, or use the internal search function of EN ?

I have the same problem. Any searches return 0 finds after I upgraded to MacOS Catalina.

I have the same issue. Search is broken on MacOS. Fine on iOS.

You can force a rebuild of the search index

Hold down the option key and click Help > Troubleshooting > Recreate

I try to recreate search index but on my version help (in Italian) menu is very different.
Why?

Can I install the English version?

Did you hold down the option key (in Italian) while clicking on Help

my problem was that I don't been able to view notes in the "all notes" view.
I searched com.evernote.Evernote folder in the Library (I use Catalina on MAC) and moved it on an other location.

Then I restarted Evernote desktop application and it recreated full database...

Is the right operation?

this "option" key is a torture... thank you for your tips...
