r137 0
Hi. Is it possible to autosave when clicked back button while editing a note. Most software supports this and I think it is fundemantal. I have a quick ideas note which I edit a lot like every 5 minutes, it is hard to tap on top left side of the phone while using with only right hand. I need to disable this popup and save automaticly. Level 5* gazumped 12,020 Posted February 22, 2019 Level 5* Share Posted February 22, 2019 Hi. Evernote can't currently sync the note when it gets switched for another one. You can go into Evernote's Settings on your device and ask it to sync automatically every 15 minutes if that helps... Link to comment
r137 0
Hi. I don't think sync is the issue. I want to save the note I changed when I pressed to back button. Currently if you want to save the note we need to click tick icon on the top left of the screen. Which is hard to press when taking quick notes. This is not a sync issue because if I click top left tick icon it works perfectly. I just need to use this functionaly from back button. Link to comment

Don't think that option exists - or that it is likely to be introduced. Seems like a huge chance for someone to make changes (like deleting something important) and hit 'back' by mistake while trying to correct their error. There are automation apps for Android (I have one called "MacroDroid") though AFAIK the triggers it uses don't include standard key presses / taps. Link to comment
r137 0
I understand this could cause some unwanted destructive changes. Of course this doesn't have to be the default behavior. An option in settings menu could be useful. Or at leats a button can be added to discard? modal box. Link to comment
Level 5 Dave-in-Decatur 3,998 Posted January 1, 2020 Level 5 Share Posted January 1, 2020 It would be good to post this request in the Android feedback and feature request forum: https://discussion.evernote.com/forum/208-evernote-for-android/ -- after first searching the forum to see whether something similar has already been requested.
