It would be great, if you could have just the list of entries in the List-Window without showing the info & content view of the selected entry on the bottom. The advantage is to see more entries; to open a Note-Entry it is only necessary to double-click the line in the list anyway.

Hi.  If you don't want to see the Note window you should be able to close that part of the display down - see your View menu for options...

The note panel can not be removed from the Mac view; only resized

You could switch to Side List view which allows for more entries

  Hope that doesn't happen to the Windows client - the tags, list and note panels are all (currently) independently switchable.
