This is from my Mac. There's a checkbox for Annotation Summary at the bottom of the page Hopefully Evernote/Win has something similar

I have never known anyone to like this feature, but I guess enough people do that Evernote has it on by default. You can disable it in the Annotation window select the Edit menu and clear the "Show annotation" item. But it is checked every time you use it.

Just seen the way Annotate PDF puts Cover Page showing what annotations made.
