How do I do this? I set the below search up some time ago. It is not 100% accurate in that it includes some notes containing CSV files. I think there are multiple parameters because of XLS and XLSX. There may be an updated parameter set now, but if there is I don't know it. This will get you in the neighborhood. FWIW. any: resource:application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.sheet resource:application/vnd.ms-excel XLS EDIT: Removed the XLS from the search, that was a typo. Link to comment

PDF: resource:application/pdf Doc files: resource:application/msword (does not find .docx files) Excel files: resource:application/vnd.ms-excel XLSX files: resource:application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.sheet Word files: resource:application/msword Zip files: resource:application/x-zip-compressed Specific filenames: filename:xyz* This will find filenames that start with “xyz” Link to comment
Level 5* DTLow 5,744 Posted February 28, 2017 Level 5* Share Posted February 28, 2017 On the Mac platform, there is a "descriptive search" feature https://blog.evernote.com/blog/2014/02/04/evernote-search-gets-more-powerful-with-descriptive-search/" https://blog.evernote.com/tech/2014/04/09/descriptive-search-in-evernote/ As you can see, I typed "notes with excel attachments" Link to comment
mrkcvr 3
Thanks to you both. I couldn't find anything within the EN documentation. I'm sure I'm not the only one that needs this so you are doing a community service! Link to comment
