  1. Yes I tried that as well, and it does work. The shortcut method gives a "nicer" looking note.
  2. I did a little playing around and I seem to have found a solution. Place the Excel file in a Windows folder In the same folder, make a shortcut of that file Insert the shortcut into the EN note Delete the shortcut in the Windows folder.
  3. Thanks. Sorry for the naïve question. Do I simply make a shortcut or how do I make the link from, for example, my Documents file in Windows to the EN note?
  4. I have two Excel files in different EN notes. One is dependent on the other. Outside of EN the first sheet's formulas get automatically updated upon opening the second one. Now, within EN, I get an error message within Excel saying that it cannot update the linked cells. Is this not supported within EN or am I setting things up incorrectly?
  5. I have a similar problem. I am on a Windows 10 platform using Evernote 10.3.7. I have an Import Folder on my desktop. This no longer works. In addition, the menu item Tools / Import Folder / Add is no longer there. What happened?
  6. Thanks to you both. I couldn't find anything within the EN documentation. I'm sure I'm not the only one that needs this so you are doing a community service!
  7. I cannot find a search parameter that will return all notes that contain an Excel file. How do I do this?
  8. Also, printing to PDF only gives the article, not the comments.
  9. I can clip the article easily in the several formats (simple, full, etc.). However, in all the formats, I cannot get the article and the comments.
  10. Has anyone figured out how to capture the Comments section as well as the article in the Wall Street Journal? Often the comments are more instructive than the article and I want to capture them.
  11. I have the same problem when I print. It should be easy to assign an indent for the second and subsequent lines just like in most any word processing program. It is nice to take notes but often you have to present them. Better formatting ability would be a wonderful upgrade.
