evernote9 0
So what I did is saving a note (txt format) in SD card, then open it with evernote as an attachment of some notes. Can evernote just import it and open it as an indepedent note, not an attachment? Thanks. P.S. my android cell phone doesn't have an internet connection so I am looking for a way to import notes without internet. Link to comment
evernote-fan 34
You have two possibilities to import .txt-files as notes directly into Evernote:1. Under "Tools" –> "Import folders" you can define a folder with all your .txt-files you like to import.2. Or just drag and drop the .txt-files directly into a Evernote notebook. Link to comment
evernote9 0
Urrr, I think maybe you are a premium user? I am a free version user. Are the features you mentioned available for me? "drag and drop?" How do I do this in a cell phone? I know how to do this in a PC but not in a cell phone. Thanks.I juts found out one thing. My phone doesn't have an internet connection so once I log off, I can't log on again unless the phone has an internet connection, right? Link to comment
evernote-fan 34
Drag and drop is available for both, free and Premium users, but only with the Windows Client, you're right. Unfortunately, I can't give you an answer how to import a .txt file as a note with the Android Client. Link to comment

evernote9 0
So there is no way to import notes to evernote from other source to an android cell phone? Link to comment
BurgersNFries 2,407
AFAIK, no. That's pretty much the way it is on any of the clients except for the Mac & Windows desktops. Link to comment
evernote9 0
Awww, I guess if all fail, I will have to buy Documents to go. That is the only app I know that can open/save the notes in SD card and display Chinese fonts correctly. But it's $15 ! Link to comment
Yahoo Office PC 0
I am a window user, and I tried "drag and drop" the txt file.In my side, the file is an attachment instead of a new note in my evernote. Does any one meet the same thing? or only the free account users like me have it. Link to comment

SebR 146
You should try to create an import folder then drag (or rather copy/paste) your notes into. Link to comment

And Ive tried the Drop and drag the txt files into "notebook1" which was the first notebook I created.. Yet they never show up in the book, and never sync to my tablet..
