Hi - welcome to the forums. So far there isn't a way to change the look of Evernote, but if you'd like to request that from the developers I'm sure they'll add it to the list..

-and by raising the issue here, you've already suggested it.

You can change it to some extent using the View option on the horizontal main menu bar of the Windows client. I haven't seen the iPad option and judging from gazumped's comment and his experience, that's a lot less than you want. Still, it does give you some control between things like Thumbnail/List View/etc., and hiding/showing various elements. If you are referring to skinning the client and things like that, I don't think so.

And with very little fanfare Evernote offers a modified Vertical List View in Windows that will let you see a lot of note titles on one screen.

It can be accessed from the standard list view by Ctrl + Shift + F5.

Here is my version :)

I also think this feature ought to be advertised more, because for my use case at least, it is one of the best features in the app.

Nice!

What worries me is that the longer Evernote keeps this wonderful feature "under wraps", the easier it will be for them to drop it, similar to the way they dropped some features in the latest Mac release.

So I am doing my part as a quasi EN Marketing Consultant to keep hyping the VLV (vertical list view).

As Tony the Tiger would say: It's great!

Howdy, EN partners!

Late to the party one more time! Thank you for this Dec. 2012 post... even in Oct. 2013!

I just update to EN Win 5 version and would like to alter its aesthetics. I found this thread search the EN forum for: "change skin"

I also find the VLV (vertical list view) by far the more preferable and visually useful than the horizontal.

Appreciate.

Alan
