It screwed them up. my notes are now unusable and more frustratingly there is no "undo " option. Not sure what happened If I'm not happy with merged notes (Mac) I go to the Trash and retrieve the original notes Link to comment

When you merge notes,the originals are moved to the trash, where you can restore them if you're not satisfied with the merge result. Link to comment
