Hi Guys, is it possible to pin a note to my IOS 10.3 home screen?

There isn't actually a home screen  edit: I missed the point about IOS home screen

I use the shortcut feature

Too many notes would clutter up my shortcut section
- my solution was a tag (!HotNotes) with a shortcut at the top of the section
I apply this to notes I want quick access to

Thanks DTLow, I use similar options once in the app, but was looking to post a shortcut to a note in my primary "home screen" amongst all the other application icons for quick access to that note. Like you can do with a web shortcut. As you can't open Evernote on an iOS browser, I found a workaround by exporting a link and then opening the link in a browser and for some reason it allowed me to see it and thus I could add the "page" to my home screen, but that is still a browser view and not an app view.

Sorry, I missed the point that it was the IOS home screen.

This would be similar to the Mac/Windows desktops, where we can past shortcuts to notes

I was just looking for a way to do this and came across this thread.

It would be great to get feedback from Evernote. This has been a requested feature for years.

Dave

  1. Go to the note you want.
  2. Go the envelope looking icon and select copy link.
  3. Go to Safari and paste and go the link.
  4. Don't open in EN the first time.
  5. Go to the envelope icon in safari and select Add to Home Screen.
  6. You now have a link to the note on your home screen.

After that It still is two presses.  One to open the note in Safari and one to open in EN if you want to edit it.  FWIW.
