DATA LOSS:  tags are going missing in shared notebooks when the person updates notes in a shared to notebook.

In my screen shots, I am the owner of the notebook that is shared with one other person.  In the particular example here, I've added a tag "receipt-scuba" to this note (and several others).

User #2 (after we all sync), gets these notes but the tags are missing. 

User #2 can not add these tags back in, or update notes in this notebook with this tag (red error box as shown in second screen shot).

I think I've posted this before about tags being stripped in shared notebooks.  - Ahh, yes... quick search in my notebook for  tag:evernote-bug-open  - I see I reported this in October 2018 - screen shot here.

DATA LOSS:

Did someone break something in this release with images and notes?  Or perhaps this problem existed prior in at least this one note.
None-the-less - a note with a broken image place holder and the original image GONE!  Yikes! Image thumbnail in snapshot still shows up though.

FWIW, I tried 'save attachments' and the image was there though.  Brought it back in and synced again.

When I synced - the 'broken image placeholder' was gone and the image I recovered was in it's place.  Something isn't quite right.

Hopefully a one-off occurrence!  Did not check web to verify status there.

Do you have any details about your setup and Evernote usage?   I'm just short of 49,000 notes - some just a bit of text, others with PDF's (multiple in some cases), images, a variety of web site clips, and on - really, a fair bit of 'everything' I can throw at it -- I've got no speed problems at all on any of my systems.  My full database is about 18gb (one laptop runs 'full sync')   Two of the machines I'm on regularly have sync on demand enabled - one ends up at 10gb the other at 2gb.

Who's got some good EN shortcuts to share? 

I've only got a few...

"quick evernote (new note)"

"clipboard copy to evernote new note"

"new note with photo (camera or camera roll)" and 

"dictate an evernote note".

Wish I could pull a list of notes with a certain tag - anyone know how to do that?

How long have you waited?  I've gotten to the black screen, gone to the kitchen, made coffee, some lunch, watch a couple youtube videos  and returned to have the new web on screen.  Your results may vary.

Thanks.. I was more concerned earlier because I was only getting  a white screen and no options for anything.... I just needed to wait (and wait and wait).. then had the beta screen available.

Anyone have a reset to the original web version URL link?  

I just saw this new beta tonight, thought I'd give it a try.. but it didn't show my shortcuts (any of them) and only showed about 26,000 of my 41,000 notes for some reason.  Tried to switch back to the normal web version and now all I get is a white screen - something must be 'stuck'?

*disregard... in the time it took to hard boil a dozen eggs, check the screen again and ponder my options... then type out the above, Evernote web (beta) rendered (Chrome browser, i7 Dell with 16gb ram, 256gb ssd) - and with my shortcuts and all notes showing.    Looks good - but hopefully that initial wait doesn't mean it is trying to download hundreds of mb of data?!?

*edit -- missing several shortcuts.   nested tags not working (assuming that's already been pointed out).. and wondering if tag (and notebook) styles might transfer across to this new web version.  Otherwise, looking good... hopefully it develops entirely soon.  It would be nice to see a beautiful revamp of Evernote with some new style and new features  (integrated calendar, improved pen support (I use a surface pro 4, ipad pro and likely note 9 soon).

I do this but because the atlas feature is gone, I create a shareable note link and have to manually pin the link to a google map layer.

*doesn't really work on internet explorer, but fully functional on chrome.

I then use tags in evernote to sort on locations for "photo-location-waterfall", "photo-type-sunsets", "photo-type-mountainbikes", "photo-location-abandoned" etc., to see areas I'm interested in (or have visited that I need/want to return to).... but I also use the google map to see what I have marked in areas I'm going to visit, click a pin and jump to the evernote note I have referenced.

29,000 notes, database just over 10gb, running on an i7, 16gb ram, 512gb hdd and no performance issues at all for me.  I'm in Evernote pretty much all day as a central work hub for tasks, projects, social media planning, RSS feed reader, receipt tracking, daily journal and much more - currently quite please with the performance of it.  (version 6.9.7)
