Perhaps because they don't listen or even bother to respond (other than the automated "thank your" reply)? I opened dozens of tickets (one per missing, crucial feature in v10, which existed in v6, so nothing too fancy) - none was ever answered in a meaningful way.

No and no. No, screenshots are not flexible enough for me. And no, all my markups (in v6) are no longer visible/available since I was forced into v10. Even if I use screenshots in the future, all crucial information I collected over the last 10 years are already gone 😡

Hello there, In v6 of Evernote I had "do not start a numbered list with 1." configured (something like this). Now in v10 every time I type a number followed by a period, EN starts a numbered list. How can I disable this intrusive behavior?

So? They never warned us, what functionality will be removed forever. And I don't use EN as a "coding tool". I use it as my knowledge management tool to record and remember certain coding tricks. My bad.

Same here. Except that I haven't found a better successor yet. Testing all the alternatives is very tedious and takes a lot of time. My personal challenge is that I used most of the EN functions (in Legacy v6) and it is difficult to find a suitable successor.

Consider this: I was using the v6 client for the longest time. In this client I was able to markup text within a code block. I used that a lot to visually highlight important code changes (like bad code, obsolete code or new code) Now that I was forced to v10 client ((thanks, Bending Spoons)), code blocks cannot have any markup anymore. So I ended up having many code snippets (20 to 40 lines of code), and I literally lost the information what the actual code change was 😠😡

So it's just another deterioration of the client 😡 in v6 I could choose "show inline" or "show title" and it worked fine. Now in v10 this setting is simply ignored? And clicking each and every PDF is no option for me: For once it takes ages (b/c the amount) and also this switch updates the "last edited" date and messes up any history/sort order.

All my PDFs are shown as "first page" despite I configured "show as title" (Windows v10 client)

Why do you think? I just read "you must: ... use Evernote Free" what I will do once I downgraded. I don't see any restrictions being a former subscriber...

At least a partly clarification: The 69.99 are in USD. And Evernote is no showing the $... Which is still incorrect, as I'm a German living in Germany, wanting to pay in EUR. But $69.99 is 61,61 EUR (as of todays rate), not the agreed 59.99 EUR

Oh yes, I raised a ticket. But it's a pity I had to. And I don't want to offend any users (neither here nor in general). It's more of a heads-up for everyone to check their accounts if they got overcharged as well - and I already got 2 feedbacks from others who were ripped off too...

This fine company downgraded my account from once "premium" to now "personal", but keeps charging me the higher price. Congratulations! 😡

Thanks, I reverted to the legacy version, after I upgraded to an early release of v.10 - about half a year ago. The downside is, Evernote explicitly will not support v.6 any longer (no bug fixes, no update, no nothing - thanks Evernote!). And my legacy version is stalling every third click or so. So I thought I could give v.10 another chance. But was again frustrated immediately Personally, I don't mind a "learing curve". As long as it is an upward curve. But this product version is just degrading... With lots of great features simply removed for the lame reason "t's not an upgrade, it's a new product".

Hi there, In v.6 it was possible to have "none-synchronized" shortcuts. That was perfect because on my work laptop I need different favorites that on my private PC. In v.10 this option (along many, many other useful) seems gone.... Now, how can I have different shortcuts on different devices?

Hi there, In v.6 there was a search bar right above the notes of one notebook. When I was in one notebook I could search only this notebook. When I selected "all notes" I could search over all notes. How can I simply search within just one notebook in v.10, please?

Hello there, I gave v.10 of Evernote/Win a second try after half a year, and I'm instantly pissed. Sorry for the rant. What worked like a charm in v.6, the hotkey ALT+PrintScreen for taking screenshots, is no longer possible. So now I have to live (an re-learn) all the hotkeys that Evernote dictates me to use?!?!? Why am I paying for this BS any longer...?

I just got a reply from the helpless customer support, stating: How... how can well established features get neglected in an upgrade? "Unprofessional" barely describes such an approach
