sarahqsuhail 2 Posted October 7, 2015 Author Share Posted October 7, 2015 Windows. I went through those and apparently the one thing I can't do is empty my Trash. I've even tried deleting them one at a time but there are a number of notes that just won't delete. Any ideas? Link to comment

logandb 227 Posted October 12, 2015 Share Posted October 12, 2015 Try the following:1. Create a new note. 2. Using CTRL left click, highlight this new note together with the problematic notes. 3. Select 'Merge notes' 4. Delete the new merged note 5. Empty the trash[edit] You will need to restore the notes in the trash first before tackling the above. Link to comment

Even new notes I add won't delete. And i think it backs to having two versions of evernote installed (5.8.13 and 5.9.1). It's 8.13 that won't uninstall. When I try to uninstall it, it can't find the evernote.msi file. It's gone really wonky and I'm quite sad - I rely on it for everything! Link to comment

It sounds like your Evernote installation has become corrupt/confused.So you may want to consider doing a clean install.See Procedure for Clean Reinstall of Evernote Windows Using Revo Link to comment
