bayoyong 0
Ok, either I'm not doing it right or Evernote isn't working correctly...I would like to save a copy of any screenshot I take with Evernote to be copied to my clipboard so that I can quickly share it in an email/txt without opening Evernote, etc. Can someone explain how to do this? Have looked everywhere. Thx!Jeff Link to comment

Evernote Windows will take screenshots into a note with Win+PrtScn or save them to your desktop Ctrl+Win+PrrtScnSkitch will save a screenshot into Evernote or to your desktop Link to comment

bayoyong 0
Thx. I tried both ctrl and cmd. Neither seem to work for me. Link to comment
Level 5* Metrodon 2,188 Posted May 28, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted May 28, 2015 shift+ctrl+cmd+4 is a mac command that lets you take a screenshot and copies it to the clipboard - it doesn't add it to Evernote Link to comment
Level 5* JMichaelTX 4,118 Posted May 28, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted May 28, 2015 Thx. I have a Mac. Metrodon has provided you with the Mac built-in method, but I really like SnagIT. If you often need selected screenshots and great annotations, then SnagIT is well worth the cost, IMO. I have used it for many years, both on the Mac and Windows (one license allows use on both), and I love it. You can set it up to copy to the Clipboard, and then it is very easy to paste into a new EN Note or an existing one. A free trial is available. Link to comment
